HIGHER POWER - SEAMLESS / ON THE TURNTABLE

The underdogs of UK hardcore return with a new single after an immense announcement of tours and shows in the US and the UK. Sticking to good friends Vein on the road, they needed something fresh to blow crowds away after their debut album Soul Structure was released all the way back in 2017.

'Seamless' springs straight in with heavy tenacious riff unusual of their normal style of writing. Explosive however, signature freakish vocals scream out with an incredible growl. The difference arrives with a more Deftones chorus and clean vocals harmonically slot into the beautiful wash of guitar. Despite the comparison, don't expect this to be a rip off from any historical influences. The crunch and rawness of Higher Powers energy absolutely still exists within Seamless as the introductory riff is broken down into the classic hardcore palm muted bounce. The transition between its beating sweet chorus to the heavier high tempo verses is, dare I say it, seamless? The new track shows a new range of ability and inspiration which for a growing band and genre can only reflect positively on a thriving and exciting soundspace.
