A festival that has slowly grown to be one of the best lineups in the community over the years. It's made a name for itself by booking some incredible bands and we've put together a list for you to check out before you go! BLACK PEAKS - Fate I

The track that originally got me interested in the Brighton's Black Peaks. The group have embarked on tours with Shikari, Marmozets and even the mighty Deftones. With a tendency to explode in sound, their live presence is deafening. Perfectly slotted in before headliners Basement, why else would you miss them?

LOATHE - Stigmata

If it was possible to put the whole of their debut album The Cold Sun then this entire page would be dedicated to the incredible merseyside group. Smashing tours with Architects, Stray From The Path and opening Brixton Academy it is impossible to stop the fury and fire of heavy riffs, sweet melodic vocals and harsh electronics. Rounded off with concepts and a live show that you could only envision headlining the academy in a few short years.

GOD COMPLEX - Breeding Filth

The north comes up with another excellent display of brute angst, violent electronics and some of the most powerful vocals in the present day. Sludge and two stepping are just some of the themes you can associate with God Complex. Blistering strobe lights that illuminate the band are sure to shock some fear into you.

PATRONS - Saorsa

Much more of a grunge outfit, the vocals resemble that of Mike Duce but with a rougher edge. Guitar tones and melody that drive and create a dangerous vunerability, they are more than capable of delivering a powerful rendition of their excellently mixed studio records.

Burn It Down Festival is on Saturday 31st of August.
